Drew Men's 40895 Genuine Leather Loafers - Comfortable Slip-On Dress Shoes for Business Casual & Office Wear

The first pair of these were a Xmas gift...they lasted at least 6 years could be more. My incredibly hard to fit husband wears these most every day for Everything... Slippers to dressy. It just made sense to buy him this pair. GO DREW SHOE CO outstanding product.I really needed a good shoe for walking and use with inserts. But I did not want an ugly shoe, as some ortho/support shoes are. This shoe fit the bill. It passes for "dressy casual" in most cases. I don't know whether these shoes will hold up because I have not had them for very long. The finish looks like it might scratch without too much effort. Time will tell. I also very much appreciated that this shoe came in a narrow width. So many shoes don't, so credit to Drew for this important fit consideration. Size was accurate.I wear a 8 4E shoe and have just about worn out my crocs. I was looking for something more stylish and easy to put on in a width that would fit me. My first order was my normal size and my heal did not clear the edge at the back of the shoe. Using Amazon's outstanding return policy, I returned the 8 4E and ordered an 8.5 4E. The new shoes arrived one day before I received the credit for the returned ones -- I appreciated the service! I love these shoes. They are every bit as comfortable as my crocs but they look much nicer! There are two removable insoles that to allow for a deeper shoe if you have swollen feet or high instep. I removed the thinner bottom version and it gave me much more room in depth. I am very happy with my Drew shoe and extremely pleased to find a replacement for my ugly crocs.I never thought of men's clogs before, except for slippers. Fun! Kick them on and kick them off!These are so convenient and surprisingly warm. I am wearing them in winter weather with relatively thin socks, although I avoid deep snow!They are requiring a little breaking-in, but I am not complaining.The off-white stitching is cute, but it's not very realistic to polish around it. No biggie, the toe sections are pretty- much all brown now.The shoe is perfect. I had actually ordered these shoes for my father inlaw who lives in west Africa. When leaving the US, I had thrown away the box and all documents covering the purchase of the shoe. Unfortunately when I arrived in ghana and gave them to my father in law, he loved them very much but couldn't fit into them. They were small for him. He has not been able to wear them and I honestly don't know what to do since I don't hace the box. Can you kindly advise if anything can be done about them. Can I send them back without the box for a bigger size? Please let me know my options. Thank you.I expect a clog to have a negative or flat heel. These had a pretty high heel. I just couldn't get used to them. The high heel caused my foot to slide forward and crowd my toes (the shoe was large enough but the foot sliding forward caused a big gap at the heel)I really wanted to keep these shoes since they are attractive and well constructed but I had to send them back.this one is not up to their high standards for orthopedic support. Also, not much style either - pretty bland. Bought (2) pairs of Drew's Bexley last year and love 'em! Hope they're not cutting back on quality and overall support. Had to return these.Wished these were wider.
