I have a narrow foot and these shoes are perfect. They are very comfortable.I'm a longtime wearer of Nike running shoes--I was partial to the old Lunarglides before they were discontinued. I bought a pair of these Odyssey Reacts a year ago, and loved the fit and the cushioning so well that I sprang for a second pair. One problem: after just 3 months of light use--maybe 100 miles total--on the right shoe, the hard rubber outsole heel plate has already worn through to the cushy "React" midsole. I'm not a heavy guy, and I have a fairly fluid stride with a light heel strike. My original pair, which are 9 months older and have more than twice the miles on them, aren't showing this kind of wear.When I contacted the (Marketplace) seller, they told me that since more than 90 days had passed, the shoes were not eligible for a return, and suggested I contact Nike customer service. For their part, Nike's response was that they don't consider either Amazon or Amazon Marketplace Sellers to be "authorized retailers," which meant I was out of luck. If I'd bought the shoes directly from Nike or from an "authorized retailer," then I could have returned them for a replacement within two years. You would have thought Nike would want to stand behind the quality of their product no matter where they were purchased--but no.The upshot: Buyer Beware.I got these to replace the Nike Lunarglides, which I really liked. I needed a walking shoe, not running. These are good for driveway workouts like jump rope, jumping jacks, box jumps, etc. I do not like these for walking. They are extremely light and very snug around the mid foot. They feel great wearing around the house. Runners may like these for distance. But I would rather have the lunar glides back. The Odyssey React is a slipper.Compared to my last 5 pairs of 12B asics, the 12.5 nike adds slight room in toe box but in a good way. I like the bootie, low cut, light weight, lacing. The bulk of sole is very soft but with a pretty hard wear surface so hope durability is good, even though they feel squishier. I would not recommend these for anything technical as it is pretty easy to roll to either side.The size itself is true to size, but these shoes run pretty narrow. They are super comfy and obviously beautiful but in the end we have to return them because they are not wide enough. If you feel like you have wide feet or have historically needed a wide size, this style is probably not the shoe for you. Super bummer because they’re such nice shoes otherwise.Out of the box, my teenage son loved these shoes. Unfortunately, he struggled to get them on his feet because the midfoot was narrower than expected. He said they felt pretty good once they were on and he really liked the look of them as well as the loop in the back. However, he decided he didn't want to struggle every time he put his shoes on so he went with the Nike Legend React since they were so similar but easier to slip on.I'm a 63-year-old runner who does 400-500 miles a year. Need a little more cushioning these days and I've found the Odyssey React to be the shoe. Was happy to see this slightly updated model had the same performance as the old one.Design style and color of the shoe is unique and special. The react sole has a very soft feeling like Adidas Boost material. Shoe runs a bit narrow. Lots of durable tread rubber showing on outsole. These shoes are very light weight, feels like wearing slippers. Was glad the tongue was not fully integrated into the shoe-sock style so a higher arch can fit without too much instep pressure.The most supportive, comfortable and hard wearing trainer I have ever had. This is my second pair and I think I will likely buy another pair for when these ones die (although the last ones survived two years with heavy use!!).Fit perfectly. Great to train in.Very comfyNice comfy trainersLas compré porque mis otras zapatillas (Nike Pegasus 5 Shield) apenas transpiran (tampoco calan), por lo que no son recomendables para días calurosos, y porque el precio era muy bajo. Por entre 50 y 60 euros son un chollo.Las zapatillas vinieron en una caja blanca "genérica", lo que al principio me preocupó un poco, pero está claro que son originales. La espuma React de la suela amortigua mucho, por lo que me parecen perfectas para distancias considerables. De momento solo las he probado corriendo 6 kilómetros (prefiero las Pegasus 5 Shield para el invierno), y me han parecido muy cómodas. No he tenido problemas, de ajuste, rozaduras, etc.En cuanto al material de la suela, algunas partes están reforzadas con goma, lo que debería hacer que resistiesen mejor que otros modelos como las Epic React, que al parecer se desgastan muy rápido porque la espuma React no aguanta demasiado bien la abrasión.
