I use exclusively for mountain biking. I have a narrow foot with long toes. I purchased 1/2 size larger (recommended) and they fit great. I have a low arch, so I use an insert to raise my heel and reduce my arch break-over angle. I replaced the laces with high visibility lock laces. After 50+ miles of break-in, the shoes feel better and I imagine they will continue to get more comfy. they’ve held-up well on and off the bike. The grip is outstanding on the pedals. I love the styling but will likely by mtb specific shoes from 5.10 on the next go round.I wear a women's size 7.5-8 which is a men's 6. I read that they run small so I ordered a 6.5 in the blue. My toes hit the end so I sent them back for a size 7 in tan. They were a really snug fit, and the arch support felt wrong. I sent those back and got the green in 7.5 and what a joy! These are the most comfortable hiking/trail shoe I've ever worn! I live in either fitflops or my Scarpa hiking boots but these have just replaced them as my daily shoe. Way more interior padding than La Sportivas, incredible arch support, plenty of room for my toes without feeling sloppy. It's a beautifully shaped shoe - I love looking down at my feet!Traction for light duty climbing, scree, and scrambling is awesome. The cut around the ankle is a little weird in my opinion and doesn't really feel like they lace up as secure as I would like. Also there are stitches on the front of the toe cap and they all ripped out on both shoes after the first 2-3 of use. Hopefully they don't have much function and are not indicative of the overall durability. Also great for biking. After reading reviews on the shoes fit, I ordered .5 size up from what I might normally order online. I range from size 10-11depending on the shoe (Asics 11, Columbia 10), so I went with 11 and they fit perfect. People commented that they are a tight fit, I agree, but would not say that this is an issue. I would not say they are TOO tight, especially for a rock climbing shoe company. I like my approach shoe to fit snug. I have had these shoes for a few days, and I can see them being perfect for everyday use and general scrambling.I ordered thks shoe a half size bigger than I usually would order. Wont even fit enough to get my heel in. I like the build so hopefully the 13s will fit because thats the end of the line.I love these shoes. I’m on my third pair and wear them as everyday shoes, but they definitely have a ton of traction and good enough for hiking long distance. I always order them a half size bigger than my normal shoes size would be ok most other brands.Size up! I usually wear a size 11 and everyone said up a half size, I was nervous and went a full size up to a 12. This fit great, I had enough width and length. I think only a half size would have me jamming my toes in the front.I would go at least a half size up from your normal size. I had to go up a full size because the 1/2 size up was out of stock, and the full size is still comfortable and secure enough for hiking and scrambling.
