The battery/cordless capability is great but the 30 minutes of runtime- not so much.if you have a large area to clean you might need to recharge the unit to finish the job. If Bissell made this with a replaceable battery you could keep a charged spare on hand and just swap them out like most codes tools. That’s why i only gave it 4 stars. I’m actually writing this while it recharges in its dock so i can finish the floors. Cleaning is excellent, even on “problem” areas. Very pleased overall.Update: My wife the engineer says the 30 minute battery life is intentional to allow the motor to cool down while it recharges which prevents early failure as it’s not designed for continuous use. Makes sense. Still, 30 minutes goes pretty quick with lots of floor and lots of pets.I read the reviews and thought my prayers were finally answered. I have an active 8yr old and 2 pitbulls so my floors constantly need to be cleaned! My house is 1200 sq ft and ALL TILE! So previously I was vacuuming and then mopping. I received this fairly quickly. It’s as noisy as any other vacuum.Pros: it’s nice looking, self cleans, cordless and picks up things pretty well. Even without using the wet feature it picked up food, dog hair and even candy wrappers. It’s also easy to add the cleaner and pull apart to clean.Cons: It arrived in its regular packaging so beware when you order. This could be a hot item for thieves on the prowl for expensive deliveries. I immediately charged it upon receiving it and still the battery didn’t last long. I made it through the master bedroom and kitchen before having to place it back on the charger. Also, while it did well in the first room, it began to leave dirt streaks in the second. Highly disappointed. The 40 second self clean feature is obnoxiously LOUD!Would I recommend, NO! Save your money and find a cheaper option or keep on vacuuming and the mopping separately! Lol!This product sucks, definitely not worth the money. All it does is push the dirty water around, the part where the dirty water goes needs to be emptied out way too frequently, the brush needs to be washed a couple times in the middle of cleaning, and it just doesnt seem to do a good job. I feel it’s just pushing dirt and scum water around. I regret this expensive purchase very much.I purchased this for a few reasons. 1-it says it worked on any hard flooring, it left streaks on my laminate wood flooring. 2-It is cordless. I have a 1752 sq ft home and the battery only lasted for about 1/3 of my home and it takes 4 hours to completely recharge. the only features I do like is it does vacuum the floor well and the self cleaning is pretty cool. Unfortunately when I received the machine I was sick and could not even use it until after the 60 day return so now I'm stuck with a $400 machine that is useless.Have you even found a product and wondered where it has been all your life? THIS IS IT! I have two toddlers and a dog, so they can be messy for sure! I used to hate having to clean my floors because the hardwoods in my house would never be shiny like I would like or be streaky. I would spend an hour or so cleaning the grout in the bathrooms and this like gadget get the grout nicely. This is worth every penny! If my kids spill something just run it over it. I like that it does carpet too. Just a button and bam on the carpet. It’s easy to clean the tanks and refill. The crosswave is easy to charge too. I also love the fact that all I have to do is put it back on the stand and press the clean button. There are a couple down sides to this though. One is that you have to use the bissell cleaner designed for it. If you use any cleaner other than the Bissell cleaner there will be soapy foam on your floor. Secondly, the brush heads can hole smell if you aren’t careful. I didn’t think I would have to change it out frequently but you do. This also goes for the stand, if you put the crosswave in the stand and the stand that at is dirty it will smell. If you get purchase this make sure you get extra brush heads.Fantastic, especially since we have numerous dogs!! Love the cordless Crosswave, and we also own the corded version. Brilliant design, self cleaning roller option is GREAT! Cleans the floor and suctions up the dirty water into the holding tank. No more shoving dirty water around with a mop! The tilting head enables cleaning in tight spaces, eg between toilet and wall. Floor dries quickly because dirty solution is pulled up into the catch receptacle. The floor is clean, without a sticky residue. The pet hair catch enables you to remove the hair and deposit in the trash so you can then dispose of dirty waste solution. Disassembles easily to clean, and LOVE the self-cleaning roller function. GREAT gift idea for newly weds, aging parents, and all pet owners. I will never use a mop again.Note: because we have 8 dogs, I vacuum first with my vacuum sweeper to remove dust bunnies and clumps of Great Pyrenees dog hair. Then I clean the floor with my Crosswave. If you’re deciding between cordless or corded, you’ll find the cordless handy for tight spaces. However, if you have an extensive amount of hard floor, you’ll want to opt for the corded version. You’ll get about 2-3 hours on the rechargeable unit. I purchased both options to handle our floors.I’ve owned this a few months, thought it was cleaning my dark hardwoods decently, however does leave streaks. Now I know those streaks are dirty water! We replaced some floors with light colors and it leaves brown dirty water streaks everywhere! Not to mention this this needs to be hand cleaned and washed each time or it smells absolutely horrid. I wouldn’t recommend it. The photos show after the floors were “cleaned” and you can clearly see they aren’t clean and leave wheel marks for proof of the filth still on themWe all know why most of us want a pair of these. Whether it's Kill Bill's Bride, or Bruce Lee in Game of Death that inspires you, these kicks are iconic. Okay they might be slightly different in minor detail, but they are as close as you're going to get. Whether you pair them with jeans, track pants or a yellow jumpsuit, they look the part.Comfort-wise, remember these are casual trainers, not as cushioned or as comfy as sporty trainers, the walls are very thin, being just a thin layer of leather, lined with a strong textile layer, securely stitched to it. The inner sole is fairly thick, but very stiff, with an arch support. If you are used to wearing sports trainers, they will feel a very light, but a little stiff, at least at first, but should wear-in nicely. As for fit, I took advice from a previous purchaser that they wear a little large, and ordered half a size down (I am a UK 9, I ordered 8.5). I'm glad I did, as they definitely would have been a bit too large. In fact, the 8.5's feel slightly on the large side, so I might have even got away with a full size down.Overall, I have wanted them for a while, love the look of them and am very happy with my purchase. On Size:Most people have worn a pair of Adidas at some point, so they should provide the best comparison for size. For me the best fit in Adidas is 8.5 to 9 UK, depending on the model. I ordered my Tigers in a size 9, but when they arrived they were very lose, both in width and length, I'd equate them to Adidas size 10+. I returned them and reordered another pair in size 8 UK. The 8s were a near perfect fit, both in width and length so I'd advise potential buyers to consider dropping a size when ordering.Opinion:Once I'd got the right size they proved to be very comfy and light to wear. With their thin sole I would not recommend wearing them as a long distance running shoe, but as an everyday wear, they are great. As for style, they are classic. Lot of people reference them to the Kill Bill movie, but I first saw Bruce Lee wearing a pair in Game of Death - way cooler- and have wanted a pair ever since. These are lovely looking shoes I'm really pleased with them. They're really comfortable without being to heavy or bulky. Don't be fooled however as they are a rather flat shoe and don't have all the padding you'd get with a sports shoe. They're very similar in terms of fit to an Adidas gazelle personally I find them a little more comfortable.I chose the Birch/India Ink/Latte colour scheme and it looks great. I've never really been into the whole gleaming white trainer thing and always had something of a gap in my wardrobe in that department but the off tone of the latte colour is subtle enough that I'd be more than happy to wear them in that role now.Love everything about this shoes except sometimes sizing gets funny - I'm a big fun of Mexico 66 but I still juggle b/n three sizing. Hence, hard to take advantage of sales as one has to juggle b/n 1/2 sizes - got 9 pairs and all not same size - the other miner issue is that, the soles do wear out quite quick - still love them though!!!!I have several pairs of Onitsuka Tigers.More interesting than Nike or Adidas. The trainers do run large, but are very comfortable.Nice soft leather and well made.Highly recommended.
